Community

The River Community is an active community of believers who have a passion to make an impact in the city in which we live. We provide opportunities for people to become involved in community through various activities and opportunities to meet together. We are an open door community, (free to come and go) and encourage one another to be involved in the wider community in which we live.

'Community Life' at the River Community Church means getting involved. It's all about doing life in our community. Help when one can help. Serve where one can serve. Being a doer - because it's better to give than receive.

It's really about 'Being the Church'. Being the hands and feet of Jesus. That's what we have been called to do in serving the community of Albury by living our lives as a community of authentic christians.

To be involved in our community is simple, there are no membership forms or rituals to go through - it's just a place where people can come together who share or would like to find out about 'life in Christ', community life, as we believe Jesus would like it to be seen.
